All mentors on Mindsarthi are independent professionals who have applied and been verified by our team. They hold recognised qualifications such as M.Phil (Clinical Psychology), RCI registration, or equivalent credentials in their respective fields.
Yes. Everything discussed in your session stays between you and your mentor. Mindsarthi staff do not have access to session content. Mentors are bound by professional ethics and legal confidentiality obligations. The only exception is if there is imminent risk of harm, in which case disclosure may be legally required.
Simply browse our mentors, view a profile you like, select an available date and time slot, and confirm your booking. You will receive session details via WhatsApp. If no slots are available, you can send a session request and the mentor will confirm a time with you.
You can submit a Session Request from the mentor's profile page. Fill in your concern briefly and submit — the mentor or our team will reach out to confirm a suitable time.
After your booking is confirmed, a payment link is shared with you via WhatsApp. Fees are in Indian Rupees (₹) as displayed on each mentor's profile.
Yes. You can cancel from your dashboard. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session may be eligible for a credit or refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Yes, with parental consent. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian register on their behalf and provide consent. We have mentors experienced in adolescent mental health, academic stress, and career guidance.
A psychologist typically holds a postgraduate degree (M.A., M.Sc., or M.Phil) in psychology and may be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). A mentor may specialise in areas like career guidance, academic coaching, or relationship support without necessarily being a clinical mentor. On Mindsarthi, each professional's qualifications are clearly displayed on their profile.
Research supports the effectiveness of online mentorship for many concerns including stress, anxiety, career confusion, and relationship issues. Some situations may benefit from in-person sessions. You can filter by session mode (online/in-person/both) when browsing mentors.
After a session is marked as completed, you will see a "Leave a Review" option on your dashboard. Your review helps other students and parents make informed decisions. Mentors may also add private session remarks for their own reference.
No. Mindsarthi is a technology marketplace — we connect people with independent mentors. We are not a clinic, hospital, or healthcare provider. In a mental health emergency, please call iCall at 9152987821 or visit your nearest hospital.
For Mentors
Click "Get Started" and select "I'm a Mentor" during registration. Fill in your qualifications, experience, fee, and specialisation. Your profile will be reviewed by our team before going live — this typically takes 24–48 hours.
You should hold a recognised degree in psychology, mentorship, or a related field (e.g., M.A./M.Sc. Psychology, M.Phil Clinical Psychology, RCI registration, NCFE/IGNOU mentorship certifications, etc.). Career and academic mentors with relevant training are also welcome. All qualifications are verified by our team.
Yes. You have full control over your session fee (in ₹), duration, and availability slots. You can add and remove availability from your dashboard at any time.
Mindsarthi coordinates payment collection. Once a booking is confirmed and payment is received, it is tracked in the admin panel. Payment disbursements are handled as per the agreed schedule — contact hello@mindsarthi.com for payout details.
No. Student and mentor contact details are not directly shared through the platform. Session coordination happens via Mindsarthi-facilitated WhatsApp communication. This protects both parties.
Yes. From your mentor dashboard, you can add private or public remarks for each session. Private remarks are visible only to you and the admin — not to the student.
No-shows are non-refundable for the student. If you experience repeated issues, please report them to hello@mindsarthi.com and our team will review the case.

Yes. Mindsarthi handles all personal data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and SPDI Rules, 2011 (India). We use industry-standard security practices, do not sell your data, and you can request data deletion at any time by emailing hello@mindsarthi.com.
